I’m Rajat — a creative director and videographer based in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, and I still carry the camera. I plan the shoot, run the set and cut the film myself, so what you get is one vision from the first idea to the last frame, with no hand-offs in between.
Most of my work is shot between Noosa, the Sunshine Coast hinterland and Brisbane, but I travel for projects anywhere in Queensland. Whether it’s a brand that needs to be felt, a couple who want to remember the day exactly as it was, or an artist with a song that deserves a picture — the job is the same: find the pulse, and keep it in every cut.

Questions people ask
Where are you based, and do you travel?
I’m based in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Most shoots happen between Noosa, the hinterland and Brisbane, and I travel for projects anywhere in Queensland — travel is simply added to the quote.
What kind of videos do you make?
Brand and commercial films, short-form social content (reels for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube), wedding and event films, and music videos and documentary work. If it needs a camera and a story, it’s probably in scope.
How much does a video cost?
Every project is quoted on its own — a one-day brand shoot, a full wedding film and a month-long social series are very different jobs. Send me what it’s for, roughly when, and where, and you’ll have a clear quote within a day, with no surprises later.
How far ahead should I book?
Weddings: as early as you can — popular Sunshine Coast dates go quickly. Brand and social work: two to four weeks is comfortable, but if something urgent comes up, ask; I can often make it work.
What happens after the shoot?
I edit, colour-grade and mix the sound in-house and deliver files ready to post or play — landscape for web and screens, vertical cuts for social if you need them. Typical turnaround is one to three weeks depending on the project.
